Dropshots has just revamped their already excellent site with appealing animation and other features that make the overall experience memorable. It is fun to use and informative. Dropshots has good support for video files as well.
The site is formatted as an online photo sharing hub for friends to stay connected and share memories. However, it is not useful for ordering gifts and other products.
Free membership allows storage of 500 photos and 10 videos. While this is great to start, once you reach that limit you must either remove some or pay for membership. (There are sites that offer unlimited storage and make their money through the sale of prints and products or advertising instead.)
[#Unique#]
Add photos to blogs with quick HTML option.
Browse public photos by user.

[#Membership#]
Free membership allows storage of 500 photos and 10 videos (up to 2 minutes each). All online functions are included, such as sharing, blogging, editing and organization.
Upgraded membership allows unlimited storage, video downloads, comments from friends, 10 minute videos and ad-free use.
[#Drawbacks#]
Dropshots does not sell prints and gifts.
Limited free storage.
Ads can be distracting with free membership.
[#Uploading#]
The uploader is simple enough. You can upload many photos with the Dropbox desktop application or upload individual photos with the basic uploader.

[#Storage#]
Dropshots sorts your photos automatically by date and you can access them from a calendar-like screen. You can also keep your albums in your own albums, but they can be sorted and resorted at anytime, while still retaining your organization.
[#Products#]
Products not available.
[#Prints#]
No prints available for purchase.
[#Sharing#]
Emails are sent to guests with URLs for sharing. A list of guests and visitors is kept on you account. Only entire albums can be shared, not pictures within an album. (You can, however, create an album with just the photo you want to share and invite guests to see only that one album.)
[#Privacy#]
Photos are kept safe in your password-protected albums. No one can access them without an invitation.
[#SiteNavigation#]
Menus are simple and the help sections explain everything that the site can do.
