Ezprints is a simple site for storing, sharing and printing images. Each of these functions is viewed as a menu tab that is virtually always in view. This site is so streamlined that it may appear to be lacking the functionality of bigger sites. This is not so. It has all the necessary tools, but no bells or whistles. What you need is there and nothing more. This makes it a great site for beginners and those interested in prints, not playing with photos online.
Because the site has been recently revamped, users can choose between the old version, if you are an existing customer, or the new layout for new members. We would not recommend using both because the albums stored in each version are not interlinked.
The desktop application from the original version is not offered on the newer one. This is an improvement because it was unnecessary and difficult to use.
If you are a digital imaging rookie, you may want to check out the glossary for descriptions of general features found on photo and video sites, and for some insight into basic industry terms.
[#Unique#]
Simple design is great for beginners and those who only want to store and share photos.
Guests can view album as a slideshow.
Guests do not have to create an account.
Product line is sparse.
Fast shipping
[#Membership#]
Free membership gives you all of the basic functions you need to store and share photos and order prints and products.
[#Drawbacks#]
Desktop application is not the most user-friendly program.
Do not bother with the photo ordering software offered in the older version of the site. It is easier to just order through the site.
Photos cannot be moved around within an album or between albums. They can only be sorted alphabetically or by date.
No editing tools
No image hosting
Site is not entertaining or aesthetic, but it is functional.
[#Uploading#]
Albums are created by adding photos through the basic or “amazing” upload tools. Both are easy to use, but neither is faster than the other. The drag-and-drop (they call it “amazing”) application saves time on selecting each file.

[#Storage#]
Multiple albums can be created, but photos cannot be arranged within the album or moved to a different album.
[#Products#]
All of the basics are available, shirts, mugs, mouse pads, cards, but nothing very unique.
[#Prints#]
Prints are on Fuji Crystal Archive paper and shipped within 24 hours.
[#Sharing#]
Sharing is done via email invitation. Share an entire album or selected photos. Guests can then choose to order products or prints. Guests do not have to create an account.
[#Privacy#]
Albums are private until they are shared with specific email addresses. The emails contain links to your account. To prevent guests from having access to your whole account, “share codes” (passwords) are added to each album. You can also choose whether or not to allow guests to view images in high resolution.
[#SiteNavigation#]
The navigation is very user-friendly with top and side tabs that are always shown so all functions are always in view.
