Fototime is a complete photo sharing and storing site with many added features. Post to other sites, share through emails and guest access. An experienced photo site users may enjoy unique features like iPod Photocasts, blogging options and slideshow creation.
Although the functions of the site are plentiful and navigation is blatant across the site, this site is not for those short on time or unfamiliar with photo sites. Normally, advanced functionality and good navigation would get a higher recommendation, but simply using this site for review purposes was draining. There are many options on every page and finding the exact function you need can be a hassle. Plus, the site is not free.
On a more positive note, those with photo site experience can take advantage of the software, many uploading options and unique elements listed below. Customize your welcome page, add captions, create shows, play with image effects, check out album stats and more.

Although basic usage is possible without subscriptions, the desktop software and membership can be purchased to get full functionality.
Foto Studio accounts are for professionals. Some of the benefits of pro membership: set prices for prints and products, add watermarks, get sales reports and link from your own website.
[#Drawbacks#]
Everything has a price.
There are editing tools in the software, which must be purchased. The software is cumbersome and the editing tools are not the most important. You cannot adjust color or brightness or add border and captions. Functions to change filters, crop, rotate and fix red-eye are rudimentary at best and not the easiest to use.
You must disable public sharing to keep albums private. Otherwise, anyone who knows your email address can see your photos.

Albums can be created in the desktop application and synched with the website, but we had some issues synching. Albums have multiple types, like web albums, smart albums, albums on your computer’s hard drive, albums organized with the application. It can be confusing for new users.

Prints are inexpensive and are printed on Fuji Crystal Archive paper. Sizes are available up to 48x48 in glossy, matte or canvas finishes.

Share through email invites with URL. Guests can also login to your gallery using only your email address. Guests do not have to open their own account to view your albums.
